Free Agent Period 1

Free Agency Period 1 is complete. The waiver priority (based on reverse order of standings after week 5) for Free Agent Period 1 was as follows:

1. Gorilla Biscuits

2. Slaughter

3. 18 Hoes

4. Shlink Lincoln

5. Golf Cheese Hoes

6. Kinzler

7. Gonzalez

8. Dutch Roll

9. Sand Crabs

10. Romig

And here are the results:

Free Agent adds will take the default roster position of the player that was dropped.

Remember you can edit your default roster at any time, in fact I would recommend that everyone do this at least after every free agency period.

The next Free Agent Period (P2) will be after Week 10.

2007 Rotoff Golf Draft Results

Monday, January 1st, 2007

The SLS Rotoff Golf Draft was conducted this past Saturday. The #1 overall pick was……….you guessed it, Tiger Woods.

And here are the results:

This was the first time I’ve participated in a Fantasy Golf draft so I wasn’t sure what to expect. All in all the draft ran pretty smoothly and everyone drafted well.

I was happy to get P. Harrington in the later rounds and I felt that Campbell in the 5th round was a steal. My team chances to contend for the SLS Cup fall on the shoulders of Verplank, Goosen and Appleby. I don’t know if my team will win any Majors this season, but it’s was definately built with the intention of making the playoffs.

There will be a free agency period over the next few days and final rosters will be due on Wednesday January 3rd, at which time I will post the Mercedes-Benz Championship preview. The season starts in 4 days!

Good luck to everyone in the 2007 season! Thank you for your participation, it will be an awesome season of SLS Rotoff Fantasy Golf.

Will Tiger go #2?

Wednesday, December 27th, 2006

The inuagural SLS Rotoff Golf season kicks off next week. The draft is this Saturday Dec. 30th. There are 10 teams competing for a total of $450 in prize money and to be the first name to don the SLS Cup.

Jasper has the first pick in the draft. Could Tiger slip to #2? Singh is ranked higher in the SLS draft rankings based on more tournaments played over the last 3 years. One thing is for sure, Tiger will not fall into my lap at #8.

The SLS rankings are weighted towards scoring average and events played from 2004 – 2006.

Draft order for this Saturday’s draft:

1. Steutel

2. De Lara

3. Romig

4. Littlefield

5. Amabisca

6. Kinzler

7. Slaughter

8. Planer

9. Gonzalez

10. Beaty

Stay tuned here for post draft analysis and a preview of the Mercedes-Benz Championship which kicks off on January 4th.
