<p align="left"><strong>Last week:</strong> </p>
<p><br/></p>
<p align="left"><a href="http://sports.yahoo.com/golf/pga/players/Tiger+Woods/147/log" title="Tiger Woods">Tiger</a> was impressive all week long and I got my 3rd winner of the year, <strong>10</strong> more points to add to my season total and my goal of 111 points is a little more attainable.  <a href="http://sports.yahoo.com/golf/pga/players/Paul+Casey/3946" title="Paul Casey">Casey</a> flat out sucked, not even playing the weekend, and <a href="http://sports.yahoo.com/golf/pga/players/Boo+Weekley/4890" title="Boo Weekley">Weekley</a> looked good for most of the tournament until Sunday.  I can&#8217;t help but wonder if he hurt himself late last week.  67-69-69-79.  Ouch! </p>
<p><br/></p>
<p align="left">The Tiger/<a href="http://sports.yahoo.com/golf/pga/players/Anthony+Kim/8802" title="Anthony Kim">Kim</a> final pairing was exciting, if not anti-climatic.  Anthony put up a decent fight but just couldn&#8217;t get his putter going.  But take note of this pairing as we enter the summer and fall.  Should Kim get a chance to challenge Tiger again this experience will be huge. </p>
<p><br/></p>
<p align="left"><font color="#0000ff">Rotoff Note:</font>  In my <a href="http://rotoff.shlinklincolnsports.com/week.php?w=103&amp;y=2009" title="2009 AT&amp;T National Rotoff Golf Leaderboard">Rotoff Golf</a> league I had a three shot lead through R3, only to be trumped by Putt Putt and his R4 starter <a href="http://sports.yahoo.com/golf/pga/players/Hunter+Mahan/3531" title="Hunter Mahan">Hunter Mahan</a>, who shot a course record 62 on Sunday to knock me off the win.  My R4 starter <a href="http://sports.yahoo.com/golf/pga/players/Lucas+Glover/4809" title="Lucas Glover">Lucas Glover</a> played decent but alas I&#8217;m still looking for my first win this year (6 career) though still holding tight at #3 on the Points list with the playoffs just around the corner.</p>
<p><br/></p>
<p align="left"><strong>This week:</strong> </p>
<p><br/></p>
<p align="left">There&#8217;s a weak field at <a href="http://www.tpc.com/deere_run/" title="TPC Deere Run in Quad City">TPC Deere Run</a> this week as many are in Scottland preparing for the <a href="http://www.opengolf.com/ChampionshipGolf/TheOpenChampionship.aspx" title="2009 Open Championship">Open Championship</a>.  Only three of the <a href="http://sports.yahoo.com/golf/pga/stats/bycategory?cat=WORLD_RANK&amp;season=2009" title="2009 Official World Golf Rankings">world</a> Top 20 are in Illinios for the John Deere.  Expect birdies o&#8217; plenty and don&#8217;t be suprised if a first time PGA Tour winner is crowned come Sunday. </p>
<p><br/></p>
<p align="center"><strong>1. </strong><font color="#0000ff"><strong>Kenny Perry</strong></font></p>
<p><br/></p>
<p align="left"><font color="#000000">Who would have known that this whole time the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fountain_of_Youth" title="The Fountain of Youth">fountain of youth</a> was in Kentucky?  Defending champ <a href="http://sports.yahoo.com/golf/pga/players/Kenny+Perry/22" title="Kenny Perry">Kenny Perry</a>, at age 48 (almost 49), has found new life on Tour with five wins in the last thirteen months.  Even more impressive is two wins in 2009 and a heartbreaking <a href="http://www.successclinic.com/noahsphereblog/index.php/2009/04/13/did-kenny-perry-choke-on-the-masters/" title="Kenny Perry 2009 Masters">almost Masters win</a>.  Oh, BTW, Perry has yet to miss a cut this season in seventeen starts with a <a href="http://rotoff.shlinklincolnsports.com/draftkit.php" title="Rotoff Fantasy Golf Draft Kit">RSA</a> of -10.81.  In eight career starts in this event he has five Top 10s.  As the top ranked golfer in the field who won here last year I don&#8217;t see anyway Perry finishes outside the Top 10.</font></p>
<p><br/></p>
<p align="center"><strong> 2. <font color="#0000ff"><strong>Jason Dufner</strong></font></strong></p>
<p><br/></p>
<p align="left">One of the first timers mentioned above, <a href="http://sports.yahoo.com/golf/pga/players/Jason+Dufner/4269" title="Jason Dufner">Jason Dufner</a> is quietly putting together a solid 2009 season.  With four Top 10s and over $1 million in earnings thus far, Dufner is still looking for his first PGA Tour trophy.  Duf finished T6 here in 2007 but missed the cut last year.  I&#8217;m not gonna lie, this is a super sleeper pick but Dufner is getting close and with a lesser field could shine.</p>
<p><br/></p>
<p align="center"><strong>3. </strong><font color="#0000ff"><strong>Brandt Snedeker</strong></font></p>
<p><br/></p>
<p align="left"><font color="#000000">You <a href="http://www.thesimpsonsquotes.com/characters/troy-mcclure-quotes.html" title="Troy McClure Quotes">may remember</a> <a href="http://sports.yahoo.com/golf/pga/players/Brandt+Snedeker/6936" title="Brandt Snedeker">Brandt Snedeker</a> from such victories as the 2007 Wyndham Championship or as the 2007 Rookie of the Year.  There were even glimpses of great golf with two major Top 10 finishes in 2008.  But outside of those accomplishments, Brandt&#8217;s game has long gone down hill missing the cut in eight of fifteen starts this year.  Yikes!  So why am I picking Sneds this week?  He looked like the golfer we all remember last week with his first Top 10 of the season, and has shot in the 60s six of his last eight rounds.  That&#8217;s a start.  It was this time two years ago that Snedeker began his streak of great golf in claiming the 07 ROY.  Now owned in 0% of all Rotoff leagues, he&#8217;s got a few summer months to get back on track or I will eat these words:</font></p>
<p><br/></p>
<p align="left">From the <a href="http://rotoff.shlinklincolnsports.com/draftkit.php" title="Rotoff Fantasy Golf Draft Kit">2009 Rotoff Golf Draft Kit</a>:</p>
<p><br/></p>
<p align="left">&#8220;Snedeker had a bit of a sophmore slump in 2008 but I expect good things this year.  Grab Sneds for 20-25 units and you&#8217;ve made a wise investment.&#8221;</p>
<p><br/></p>
<p align="left">Come on Sneds, win one for the Shlinkster!</p>
<p><br/></p>
